- Because of their size, Elephanillas tend to step on and squish smaller pinatas, making them unhappy. Be sure to have a good supply of joy candies at the ready to keep your smaller pinatas happy.
- If you speak with Leafos, she may tell you a rumor that you shouldn't have any Mousemallows in the garden if you want an Elephanilla. While this is true in Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise, the rumor proves false in the other games.
