- You can purchase buttercup seeds from Costolot's General Store, or try talking with Seedos to get a buttercup seed
Terrain
- Flower needs to be planted in grass, soil, or long grass
Best Growth
- Use 3 applications of yellow fertilizer immediately after planting, for maximum effect

- 4 buttercups in the garden helps meet the Buzzlegum Visit requirements

- Eating 1 buttercup helps meet the Bunnycomb Romance requirements
- Feeding a buttercup to a Bispotti, Buzzenge or Syrupent changes their color to yellow
- Feeding a buttercup to a White Flutterscotch turns them into a Yellow Flutterscotch
- Feeding a buttercup to a Sparrowmint turns them into a Candary
