Killer Instinct is a fighting game developed by Rare Ltd. in 2013 as a free-to-play launch game for the Xbox One. As a reboot to the Killer Instinct series, the game retains several plot elements and characters from Killer Instinct and Killer Instinct 2, while introducing new characters and features such as a tutorial mode for newcomers to the series.
