Mr. Ribs is a friendly skeleton and Ma Soupswill's apprentice in Grabbed by the Ghoulies.
History
Grabbed by the Ghoulies
In Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Mr. Ribs is first seen in a storybook cutscene when Cooper reenters the Farmyard after leaving the Chicken Shed. Mr. Ribs appears out of nowhere and steals the chicken egg that Cooper had retrieved. Cooper follows Mr. Ribs back into the Kitchen. Mistaking Mr. Ribs for an enemy, Cooper starts to beat him up. Cooper is soon stopped by Ma Soupswill, who explains that Mr. Ribs is not a villain. The egg is then given to Ma Soupswill for her potion.
At the end of the game, Mr. Ribs's head is knocked off into a dog dish in front of a dog house with several Imps. Mr. Ribs manages to survive this, as he is among the characters who say goodbye to Cooper and Amber as they leave Ghoulhaven Hall.
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Mr. Ribs made a few cameos. His head is seen in a dumpster outside of Banjo's House in Spiral Mountain. In Showdown Town, Mr. Ribs owns a restaurant called Mr. Ribs' BBQ Ribs. Lastly, Mr. Ribs' head appears on the Loggo statue during a Jinjo Challenge in Banjoland.
