Rare Wiki:Coverage

Hi there. I was looking onto this creation of articles, and our proposed idea on that in the policy. Super Mario Wiki already covers the Donkey Kong franchise, which includes its DKC series, and by our "Rare Wiki Network" take we're close-knit to the 3 wikis. What I mean, unless they offer more content than already conveniently covered on those (e.g. any Rare-specific media and does it warrant own article), it seems redundant to me. —Viperision (talk) 13:43, 5 June 2020 (UTC)

Also, appreciated creation of articles on the games. It's a common practice on encyclopedic wikis to avoid addressing players (readers) as "you", instead preferring third-person, so if it's the physical person use "player" or if the subject is a character, refer accordingly. On another note, for example Cows, this is actually a fairly coverable article about cows across all the Rare's games, including Rare Cow as Conker Wiki's article mentions. Hey Viperision, I'm still new to a lot of this so there's still much I haven't figured out yet. Some of this will help out with that. As with the pages I've been working on, I was told that for most of the Wanted Pages that were for subjects covered in other wiki sites, I could just have them say "For more in-depth information, go to this other wiki" then provide a link to that respected page. Also, do not remove any links to games on articles that are not Donkey Kong, Banjo-Kazooie, and Conker series-related. I'm mostly talking about Grabbed by the Ghoulies, which is an ongoing project where I'm planning to make the articles if/when applicable. Just remember that Rare Wiki is supposed to also cover Rare's smaller franchises. It was ok when you removed the links on the Spider-Man Game Boy page since it's a licensed game (and coverage could all fit on one page anyway), so yeah. Do not remove any links relating to Dinosaur Planet or Star Fox Adventures (except Star Fox elements such as Fox, Falco, Arwing, Andross, Slippy, and Peppy Hare). because I'm planning coverage for the former game (Lylat Wiki covers the released counterpart, SFA, while this wiki covers Dinosaur Planet.
