THQ was an American company that served both as a video game developer and publisher.

On August 12, 2003, it was announced that THQ signed a distribution agreement with Microsoft to publish four of Rare's games on Game Boy Advance,[1] although the remakes for the Donkey Kong Country trilogy were published by Nintendo. In 2008, THQ published a Nintendo DS game made by Rare, Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise.
