Update

Letting you all know that v1.35 of MediaWiki has been released, and we will be updating our wikis to that version over the course of the next few days. This is a heads-up, I will post here again once we are ready to start updating Rare Wiki itself. If there are any questions, please let me know directly in some way. Ads

Hello everyone!

To help cover server and other expenses, would anyone be opposed to me running ads in the top bar, side bar and bottom bar? Check Arthur Wiki for an example of how this could look.

I'm not opposed to it personally, top and bottom ads don't bother the actual articles, so I see no problem with that personally. The side bar, I don't fully get what you mean, since Arthur Wiki does not seem to have any side bar ads, only top, bottom, and a bottom ad that follows your screen (which can be slightly more annoying than the regular top/bottom ads in my personal opinion). As long as the ads aren't bothering, I don't oppose this decision. --Metalex123 (talk) 06:13, October 26, 2024 (UTC)
