Bell Kritter

Bell Kritters are Kremlings that appear in DK64. They are only found during the final fight between K. Rool and the Kongs.

Kasplat

A blue-haired Kasplat appears in a cutscene trying to escape Hideout Helm. However, K. Rool's psychological influence, combined with the Kasplat's fear and paranoia led him to failure, as it is heavily implied that the Kasplat was eaten by a big red Klaptrap.

Klam

Their facial features bear a striking resemblance to that of the Joker from Batman.

Kloak

History Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong QuestKloaks first appear in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. They have the ability to levitate in this game and are believed to be undead versions of Krook. They lack legs, meaning they are only in the air and throw enemies including Zingers and sometimes barrels and crates. They can be defeated if they come down low enough and have Diddy and Dixie jump on them. Or, they could have an item thrown at them. They mainly appear in Gloomy Gulch though some in appear in the first level of world 3 Krem Quay's Barrel Bayou and aren't seen again until the 3rd level of Krazy Kremland: Bramble Scramble where 4 appear at the end throwing crates and blocking the players' path you'll need to use Squacks eggs to knock them out.

Kremling

The Kremlings are a race of crocodiles that originated from Crocodile Isle. They first appeared in Donkey Kong Country. Kremlings come in many different varieties. Most Kremlings are a part of the Kremling Krew.

Origin

The Kremlings apparently originate from the Lost World on Crocodile Isle, an island mostly composed of swampland. The varied climate and conditions of the Lost World may explain why some types of Kremlings look drastically different from other types, as certain types of Kremlings may have developed different characteristics to adapt to the Lost World's different environments.

Biology

From what has been seen of Kremlings so far, they seem to have two distinctive body shapes, either being humanoid or having the basic form of an alligator or crocodile, being a quadraped with a tail dragging behind them.

Skin Pigment

From what has been observed, Kremlings come in a wide variety of colors, though the most basic color seems to be green and its multiple shades. Other colors seen include brown, red, blue, gray and even purple.

Speech

Though it seems most Kremlings speak English fluently, it is possible the Kremlings may have their own language consisting of hisses, as several Kremlings have been shown to drag-out the "S's" in words while speaking. Klaptraps and related creatures have also been shown to communicate using snarls and growls, though whether other types of Kremlings such as Kritters can understand these noises is unknown. They also seem to replace cs with a k like sound with a k.

Society

The Kremlings seem to have some level of leadership and government, as evidenced by King K. Rool and KAOS. How these leaders are actually chosen is unknown though, it is possible the Kremling may actually hold elections and vote for a leader; though due to comments made by Klubba about how the Kremlings are "miserable" under King K. Rool, it seems more likely that the Kremlings may be ruled under a dictatorship, with one Kremling simply taking the position of leader.

Unlike the Kongs who seem "in-tune" with nature, the Kremlings could seemingly care less about it, as a large amount of heavily-polluting, Kremling-controlled factories have been seen. The Kremlings are also advanced in the field of mechanics, as such things as airships and submarines have been shown to be used by the Kremlings. Additionally, the Kremlings are seemingly more advanced than humans in technological levels, as the Kremlings have been shown using and building such devices as apparently sentient robots, laser weaponry and on one occasion, a "hover-craft" like vehicle.

The Kremlings seem to be a marauding and conquering race, as evidenced by their looting and stealing of valuables and take-over of the Northern Kremisphere. (It is also possible that they showed similar sides in the unseen Kremean War, which they are assumed to have fought in.) Not all Kremlings are bad, though; some, such as K. Lumsy seem to be decent individuals.

Cities, towns or villages inhabited by Kremlings have never actually been seen, meaning what a Kremling's shelter or home may actually look like unknown.

Kritter

History
Donkey Kong Country/Land

In this game, they are the easiest Kremling enemies to deal with as they just walk back and forth and defeated in any sort of way in the game including being jumped on, Rambi and barrels. They first appear in Jungle Hijinxs and make their final in Loopy Lights They also have various spiritual successors that appeared in the sequels being Klomps and Kobbles.

Krobot

They resemble wind-up toys. In fact, the only way they can move around is when their switch thingymabobber turns enough times.

Mutie-Snippet

Trivia
  • They are a type of Snippet (obviously).

Quarrie

They are boulder-like enemies seen in Spiral Mountain, but they just stand there, making them the most useless enemy ever.

Rockroc [sic]

Rockrocs are enemies encountered in Donkey Kong Country. They are among the deadliest Kremlings Donkey Kong and Diddy can encounter in the entire game, and are quite tough to deal with. The only way DK can defeat Rockrocs is when a light above the Rockroc turns red, telling the Rockrocs to stop, which must then lead to Donkey Kong slapping the ground where the Rockrocs are concealing themselves and beat them into submission. Otherwise, and especially if Diddy has to deal with them, the Rockrocs will get back up and run incredibly fast across the platform the Rockrocs are on and it'll be quite tough maneuvering around them.

Swoopy

Swoopies are enemies in DKC3. They have long beaks.

Zinger

Zingers reappear as enemies in Donkey Kong 64. In this game, they are more uncommon and gain a new sub-species called Mecha-Zinger which may have been inspired from Buzzes. When the player comes in contact with these foes, they swoop down and try to attack the player and are somewhat harder to avoid. The player once again becomes injured with touching these foes and can only be defeated via using weapons.
