High Speed
From Rare Wiki
Jump to navigationJump to search
High Speed is a conversion of the pinball game of the same name, developed by Rare Ltd. in 1991 for the NES console. The game recreates the pinball table and gameplay from the original arcade version, while adding some new features such as lightning bombs, hostile enemies, magnetic helicopters and rust balls that dissolve your flippers. The bottom half of the screen remains on the bottom set of flippers, while the top half scrolls over the entire pinball table to follow the action. Up to four players can alternate gameplay roles.
