Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat is a racing game that was ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System by Rare Ltd. in 1992. Starring the American IndyCar driver Danny Sullivan, the game takes place in nine of Danny's favorite race tracks plus a bonus track named after Tradewest, the company that published the NES port of the game. In the game, players race against four other cars on race tracks throughout North America, taking care to make pit stops to repair damages and refuel their car. The player earns money based on their finishing positions, which they can spend on upgrades to their car and their pit crew. Players can play solo, or in four player multiplayer.
