The Staff of Karnath is a 2D sidescrolling video game developed and published by Ultimate Play the Game in 1984 for the Commodore 64, it is the first installment of the Pendragon series. In the game, the player takes on the role of Sir Arthur Pendragon, who is seeking out the Staff of Karnath in order to destroy it. To that end, the player has to navigate Arthur through a mysterious castle full of spirits, traps and enemies to find 16 pieces of a Pentacle that'll reveal the Staff's location, all before the clock strikes midnight.
