A puzzle-solving game published by Rare Ltd in 1985, Alien 8 acts as a spiritual successor to Knight Lore. For the game, you play as Alien 8, a robot who operates a spaceship transporting cryogenically frozen "Cryonaughts" towards a remote planet. Your goal is to awaken these beings from all 24 of the cryogenic chambers before the ship arrives at it's destination, which is made all the more complicated by the obstacles and enemies that have appeared in the ship's rooms during the transit.
