Template:Characterbox Mumbo Jumbo is a major character in the Banjo-Kazooie series. He often uses his magic to aid Banjo and Kazooie in their adventures, he was even a playable character in the second game in the series.
Mumbo Jumbo is a shaman whose head looks like a skull. In his first appearance in Banjo-Kazooie he looked more blocking but he was remade in Banjo-Tooie and his skull was made more like a circle. His body also became thinner.
Powers and Abilities
Mumbo has the power to turn Banjo and Kazooie into various forms, introduced in Banjo-Kazooie. Rarely, because he was new, he sometimes failed and turned them into a laundry machine (he quickly then fixed them).
In Banjo-Tooie he had learned a lot and he was now playable. When he stepped on Mumbo Pads he could do a lot of magic-he helped by making a statue come to life, fixing a train, and doing all kinds of magic. However he didn't turn people into forms, due to Humba Wumba replacing him.
Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge
In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Mumbo (who witnessed the creation of Mecha Grunty, Gruntilda's new robotic body, by Klungo) rushes to Banjo's House to warn Banjo but arrives too late. After Gruntilda kidnaps Kazooie and escapes to the past Mumbo uses his own magic to allow Banjo to follow her to the past and rescue Kazooie.
While in the past Banjo meets a younger version of Mumbo who is still training to become a witch doctor. Whenever Banjo finds a Mumbo Totem (after a boss fight) he can bring it to Mumbo and it unlocks a new transformation for Banjo to use. Mumbo also uses his magic to bring Banjo back to the present at the end of the game (though weather of not it's successful depends on weather the player got the good or bad ending).
