Steve Malpass (born September 12, 1971) is a former designer and voice actor who has worked for Rare Ltd. from 1997 to 2009. He also worked for HAL Laboratory.

He is known for the role of Fox McCloud in Star Fox Adventures and Super Smash Bros. Melee and for the roles of Jonathan Dark, Elvis & Grimshaw in Perfect Dark. He voiced Cooper, Ma Soupswill, Mr. Ribs, and Fiddlesworth in Grabbed by the Ghoulies and he was also the voice for Funky Kong in Donkey Kong 64. He was credited as a designer on the Rare games Banjo-Tooie, Perfect Dark, Grabbed by the Ghoulies & Rare's latest game, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, where he was responsible for designing the game's hub world, Showdown Town, and two mini-games "Hero Klungo Sssavess the World" and "Hero Klungo Sssavesss the Universsse."

Leaving Rare in 2009, Malpass worked for a time as a photographer as Shutterfox. In 2012, he would work for Microsoft again on Kinect Sesame Street TV. He was employed by Lionhead Studios to work on Fable Legends before the game was ultimately canceled.
