Snake Rattle 'n' Roll is an isometric platforming video game developed by Rare, published by Nintendo for NES in July 1990 in North America and March 1991 in Europe, later ported and released by Sega in June 1993 for Sega Genesis. The premise of the game is playing as a snake without a body, who has to grow one by consuming Nibbley Pibbleys set throughout the level in order to proceed, all while avoiding obstacles that would reduce its body mass. A follow-up for the Game Boy, titled Sneaky Snakes, was released in 1991. It has been later included in the Rare Replay compilation.
