Outlaws is a shooter game created by Ultimate Play the Game in 1985 for the Commodore 64 console. The premise is, a band of Outlaws has been terrorizing the Wild West, killing and pillaging where ever and whenever they pleased. The player takes on the role of the nameless and past-less Lone Rider, seeking vengeance on the Outlaws. Taking place on the prairie and in cities, the player rides on the back of a horse for the entire game as they jump over obstacles, fire at enemies with a handgun, and duck into the saddle to avoid being shot at. Some levels also feature innocent civilians, and if you kill them on accident it will take away points from your score.
