This is a list of pre-release and unused content for Grabbed by the Ghoulies.
Early ideas
Players would have been given the option to play as either a boy or a girl, who would go and rescue their partner of the opposite gender within the mansion.[1] In the retail game, Cooper is the only playable character, although there is a hidden 21st Bonus Challenge where players can play as Amber.
Characters
- Cooper was originally named "Zak", also formatted "Zack".
- Babs Buffbrass was originally named "Mrs. Mopp".
- Ma Soupswill was originally named "Mrs. Kirby".
- Fiddlesworth Dunfiddlin was originally named "Mr. Brown".

- October 19, 2020: Gregg Mayles announced on Twitter that he would reveal early concepts and designs of Grabbed by the Ghoulies to coincide with the "Spooky Month" of October.[2]
- October 26, 2020: Gregg Mayles' and Rare Ltd.'s Twitter accounts each posted four images of design sheets of Grabbed by the Ghoulies.[3][4]
